D&A Goymer Landscaping & Groundworks is a family-run business comprising myself, (Dave), my wife Ann, our son Marcus, and soon-to-be Son-in-Law Ben.

The company is, in one sense, a resurection of D & K Goymer which I ran with my brother Ken from 2006.  Ken moved on to pastures new after about 18 months and my team and I kept the company going for another six years.  During this time we had commercial and residential projects contracted with Dover District and Kent County Councils and an extensive contract with a transportation company in Paddock Wood which involved excavation and re-paving of the transport yard, hard standing for heavy goods trailers, block paving a car park and installation of new drainage.  Our residential contracts included footings, drainage, extensions, driveways, fencing and patios.  I decided to bring the company to a close in 2013 but continued to work in the construction and demolition industry in London and the Home Counties.

This period of employment as Contracts Manager with various groundwork and demolition companies also gave me the opportunity to upgrade my qualifications and skills set and acquire a Diploma in Construction Senior Management (NVQ7, a Masters Degree equivelent).  Always at the back of my mind was the satisfaction I had working directly with my commercial and residential clients as well as my suppliers which brought me back to a new beginning in 2019 with our new company - D&A Goymer.
